Live tournament reporting, online poker, strategy, industry news, interviews, and features.
I’ve covered poker and the gambling industry since 2008, from the World Series of Poker to online casinos, sportsbooks, sweepstakes casinos, and the emerging products reshaping gambling today.
My career started in IT before a courthouse research business and a serious poker hobby eventually took me in an entirely different direction.
In 2008, I landed my first professional writing assignment covering the World Series of Poker for PokerNews. What began with poker eventually expanded into online casinos, sports betting, sweepstakes casinos, regulation, and the broader gambling industry.
Nearly two decades later, I'm still doing what has always made the most sense to me: learning the products, following the industry, and writing from experience whenever possible.

Whenever possible, I play the games and test the products I'm writing about. I've spent years dealing with the same things players deal with: bonuses, verification, deposits, redemptions, loyalty programs, changing terms, and products that don't always work quite the way the marketing suggests.
That doesn't replace research. It makes the research more useful.
